Gas Separator
HJESP gas separator uses centrifugal force to separate gas from liquid. The separated gas is discharged into the annulus and the liquid is guided into the pump. Our separator uses high-quality carbide friction pairs and built-in wear-resistant sleeves made of high-chromium steel or ceramic to prevent the water jet carrying solid particles from cutting the separator body.
HJESP gas separator can be used in single section or in series:
◆ Single-stage separator is suitable for mixed liquid gas ratio less than 30%.
◆ Series separator is suitable for mixed liquid gas ratio less than 40%.

HJESP Intake model only provides one liquid inlet in the production string. Our intake is equipped with high-quality carbide friction pairs as standard, and a variety of corrosion resistant materials are available for different well conditions.

Gas Processor
Ordinary ESP units are susceptible to low-pressure gas accumulation; bubble ESP efficiency and flow instability, pump deteriorates as blades fill with gas, and eventually completely clogged by gas. The pump is no longer produced, but the motor continues to run; the motor without fluid passing through will cause high temperatures, causing ESP failure. The HJESP gas processor acts like a disperser to decompose and redistribute the gas that affects the operation of the pump. By reducing the size of the bubbles and changing the distribution of the bubbles, the well fluid forms a uniform gas-liquid mixture, making it like a single-phase liquid before entering the pump. This can effectively improve the suction conditions of the centrifugal pump. The ESP system equipped with the HJESP gas processor allows operation in wellbores with a gas ratio of up to 60%. The HJESP gas processing unit is designed to be installed directly in series below the pump. For applications with high gas content, it can be installed on a single or series gas separator for better results.
